Itinerary
Discover two of Indonesia’s most spectacular volcanoes on this 3-day Mount Bromo Ijen Tour starting from Surabaya and ending at Ketapang Harbour, Banyuwangi. This multi-day adventure takes you to Mount Bromo’s famous sunrise viewpoint, across the Sea of Sand, and up to Bromo crater before continuing east to Kawah Ijen.
Pick up in Surabaya area on the agreed time
Meet at the agreed meeting point in the Surabaya area and transfer by comfortable car to Bromo village (2,300 meters above sea level). Overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse.
Depart to King Kong Viewpoint
Early morning departure by 4×4 jeep to King Kong Viewpoint (2,650 m) for sunrise overlooking Mount Bromo, Batok, and Semeru.
Sea of Sand and Hindu Temples
Cross the Sea of Sand and visit Hindu temples before climbing 250 steps to Bromo crater.
Scenic drive
Continue the journey through volcanic landscapes, plantations, and traditional villages.
Drive to Banyuwangi
Transfer to Banyuwangi area (4–6 hours drive).
Ijen Blue Fire & Sunrise Tour
Around 01:00, we will transfer to Ijen base camp.
Start trekking
Start trekking at 02:00 to reach Ijen Crater rim. Descend into the crater to witness the rare blue flames, guided by experienced local guides.
Enjoy the sunrise
Enjoy sunrise over the turquoise sulfur lake, observe sulfur miners, then descend back to base camp for breakfast.
Back to Ketapang Harbour
Will will transfer you to Ketapang Harbour. Tour ends.
